one of the easiest one is the first row…the third one you make, buy some white envelope and use chinese stick, the second one on the first row, you can use with the Carlton box.

It all depends which class you want to sail in. The Fireball is the hot rod of two-man boats. Just be aware that racing boats have very strict guidelines, weights and measurements. If you are just starting out, consider an existing craft that may need a facelift.

At equilibrium a sail boat is moving with nearly the speed of wind. A wind generator cannot work in this situation.

Thats probably a really bad investment with the economy being the way it is. Yachts take over a year to build and they require extreme maintenance. Powerful or long range full electric cars would be much better. Nissan just released the Nissan LEAF, it goes 100 miles on a single charge. not bad but could be better.

Are you asking if there is a list of legally required equipment ?? No, because the open sea is not covered by any one countries laws or regulations. OR, are you asking is there a list a sane person would want to have to venture out ?? That is a big yes, but, seeing how I know so very few sane people, I’ll have to leave it at that…

I not sure of a web-site.
This like a model car/boat we buy at a store. The pieces are pre-cut and we glue them together using the instructions. What I understand you want, is use a real sailboat plan to cut and glue together. You use an Architects ruler to cut your parts to the scale you want. Many boat builders will actually build a 3-D models of their design before they build the real boat. The link give you some plans. Try something that look simple for a start and to learn how your Architect Ruler work.

Question: What materials should be used to build a land yacht?
Not a land yacht that’s like huge or a real one, but a science project one for a seventh or eighth grader for a science festival? About 3 feet. Also, there will be a big fan blowing so it will move. Please help :[

Type in landsailing on you search engine. There are several commercial vendors, there is a Yahoo group too. I made one with a rigid wing instead of a sail. Goes real fast.
